SHIPPING POLICY

Dispatch times
We aim to dispatch in-stock items within 1–3 business days of receiving cleared payment. During busy periods, dispatch may take slightly longer. Where an item requires additional handling—such as specialist packing, crating, or booking a specialist courier for large or heavy pieces—we will contact you with an updated dispatch estimate prior to shipment.

Delivery regions
We ship from the United Kingdom. Delivery is currently available to the following destinations, where enabled at checkout:

• United Kingdom (mainland)
• Northern Ireland
• Scottish Highlands & Islands
• Channel Islands / Isle of Man
• European Union
• Other international destinations (where available)

If your destination does not appear at checkout, please contact us and we will advise whether delivery can be arranged.

Shipping costs
Shipping costs are shown at checkout and are based on destination, size, weight, and the delivery method selected.

Some items are subject to fixed delivery rates, which are clearly displayed at checkout. Larger, fragile, or heavier items may require delivery via specialist courier services.

For UK mainland deliveries, certain large or heavy items are subject to a flat delivery charge shown at checkout.

For deliveries to the European Union, items weighing up to 30 kg may be offered at a flat delivery rate displayed at checkout. Items exceeding 30 kg, or items requiring specialist handling, are delivered on a quote-by-destination basis.

For deliveries requiring a bespoke courier quote, any delivery charge shown at checkout is indicative only and serves as a placeholder. The final delivery arrangement and cost will be confirmed with you for approval prior to dispatch. No item will be dispatched without confirmation.

Remote areas, islands, access-restricted locations, or particularly fragile or oversized items may incur additional delivery costs. Where this applies, we will contact you in advance.

Estimated delivery times
Delivery times are estimates and commence from the date of dispatch, not the order date. Typical transit times are:

• UK Mainland: 1–3 business days
• Northern Ireland: 2–5 business days
• Scottish Highlands & Islands: 2–7 business days
• European Union: 3–10 business days
• Rest of World: 5–15 business days

Transit times may be extended due to customs processing, adverse weather, peak seasonal demand, or courier network delays.

Tracking and delivery confirmation
Where available, tracking details will be provided by email once your order has been dispatched. For higher-value items, we may use tracked and/or signature-required services.

Local delivery
Local delivery may be available within up to 80 miles of Melksham, Wiltshire, where offered at checkout. Delivery distances are calculated from our premises. Pricing and scheduling for local delivery are either displayed at checkout or agreed with you following purchase.

For deliveries beyond 80 miles, or for large, heavy, or particularly fragile items, delivery is arranged by quotation only.

Packaging and handling
All items are packed with care using materials appropriate to their size, weight, and fragility. Antiques and delicate objects may require additional protective packaging, which is factored into the delivery method and handling time.

Duties, taxes, and customs (international orders)
International orders may be subject to import duties, local taxes, and customs charges imposed by the destination country. These charges are the responsibility of the customer unless explicitly stated otherwise at checkout. We recommend contacting your local customs authority if you are unsure.

Address accuracy
Please ensure that your delivery address is complete and accurate at checkout. We cannot be held responsible for delays, losses, or additional charges resulting from incorrect or incomplete address details.

Damaged items and issues in transit
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

• Your order number
• Clear photographs of the item and all packaging

Please retain all packaging until the matter is resolved, as the courier may require inspection. We will work with you to resolve the issue promptly.

Failed delivery and returns to sender
If an item is returned to us due to failed delivery attempts, refusal, or an incorrect address, re-delivery can be arranged once the item is returned. Additional delivery charges may apply.
