A refined Ziegler-style runner, hand knotted in wool and produced in Pakistan, drawing on the classical Persian designs of the late 19th century Sultanabad workshops. The composition is elegant and structured, with a flowing system of scrolling vines and stylised palmettes arranged along a rich terracotta field.

Unlike more geometric tribal weavings, this piece reflects a more formal decorative tradition, where balance and proportion are central. The border, rendered in soft ivory tones with delicate repeating motifs, frames the field and enhances the overall sense of symmetry and refinement.

The palette is deliberately softened—warm reds, muted beige, and subtle accent tones—making the rug highly versatile and easy to place within a range of interiors, from traditional to contemporary. The wool pile has a smooth, even finish, consistent with workshop production, offering both durability and a clean, decorative surface.
